How to get to INSA Lyon

From Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport to Gare Part-Dieu
The quickest and easiest way to get to the city center from the airport is to take the Rhônexpress tramway.
Tickets are available at every Rhônexpress station or can be purchased online at https://www.rhonexpress.fr
On-board sales are not possible. During your journey, the Rhônexpress agent will ask you for your ticket for validation.
The Rhônexpress station at the airport is a 7-minute walk from terminals 1 and 2, and a 6-minute walk from terminal 3.
Enter the station and take the escalators or elevators to the airport access bridge. Follow the signs to Rhônexpress station.
Take the Rhônexpress streetcar and get off at “Lyon Part-Dieu” station.

From Gare Part-Dieu to INSA Lyon
Use the TCL network (www.tcl.fr) to get to the INSA Lyon campus. The TCL app or website will help you get around the city.
Trams T1 and T4 connect the campus to downtown Lyon. From the Rhônexpress station "Lyon Part-Dieu," you can take the T4 at the "Gare Part-Dieu Villette" stop or the T1 at the "Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle" stop by crossing the station. The nearest tram stops are "INSA Einstein" (T1) and "La Doua - Gaston Berger" (T1 and T4).
Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines located at tram and metro stops. Inside the trams, it is also possible to pay by credit card directly at the machines. You can travel freely on the TCL network for 1 hour, validating your ticket at each transfer.

Take the C26 bus at the Charles Richard stop towards Grange Blanche. Stop at the Grange Blanche stop. Then take the metro D (green line) towards Gare de Vaise. Stop at the Bellecour station.

Walk 10 minutes to the Reconnaissance - Balzac stop. Take the T3 tram towards Gare Part-Dieu Villette. Stop at the Gare Part-Dieu Villette station.
